Anita Wilenkin, Senior Vice President of Operations, is responsible for the management of Claims, Customer Service, Enrollment & Billing, Quality, Risk Analysis, and Facilities & Administrative Services.
Ms. Wilenkin’s leadership experience in community health center operations, hands-on knowledge, and extensive skill set enhance Affinity Health Plan’s ability to meet its organizational goals, and positions the company for continued growth.
Before Ms. Wilenkin joined the health plan in 2016, she served as Chief Operating Officer of Open Door Family Medical Center, a Westchester County FQHC, where she was responsible for process improvements and quality initiatives supporting the Patient Centered Medical Home model of care. Prior to that, she was Chief Operating Officer at Morris Heights Health Center, one of Affinity’s founding FQHCs. At Morris Heights, Ms. Wilenkin oversaw the expansion of services and locations in the community, including the implementation of a new health center facility and an urgent care center. She also served on the Affinity Board of Directors from 1993-2008.
Complementing her many years in health care management and administration, Ms. Wilenkin holds a Master in Public Health from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, as well as a Master in Speech and Language Pathology from Hunter College.
