      As Senior Vice President, Market Operations & Provider Strategies, Edina Vukic oversees three of Affinity’s key growth areas of business. Affinity’s primary care strategy was commissioned by Affinity’s Board of Directors to engage and strengthen relationships with selected primary care providers. In two years, Ms. Vukic successfully negotiated and contracted with 39 strategic alliance partnerships with providers throughout Affinity’s 10 county markets. This accomplishment has led to significant growth in membership, and has positioned Affinity to manage a high performing network of providers, focused on quality, clinical and financial outcomes toward improving the quality of life for our members. Ms. Vukic’s breadth of experience and depth of perspective benefits Affinity’s partners, and facilitates collaborative relationships of trust, understanding and support. Ms. Vukic joined Affinity in January of 2015, as Assistant Vice President of Network Development and Contracting. Prior to joining Affinity, Ms. Vukic was Director of Provider Relations at Healthfirst . There, her focus was on developing and managing a high performance network through various provider engagement strategies of four core principles: Quality, Clinical Efficiency, Administrative Efficiency and Population Health. Earlier, as Director of Provider Relations at Fidelis Care of NY, she  developed their network of key providers, provider groups, hospitals and IPAs through partnerships that focused on quality improvement, member retention and membership growth initiatives. Preceding these roles, Ms. Vukic managed all contracting and implementation efforts, while consistently exceeding unit cost parameters under budget for all NY physicians/multi-specialty/IPA groups for Health Net of New York, Inc., a commercial plan. Ms. Vukic started her extensive career in health care on the provider side with Montefiore Medical Center, where she held various positions in the utilization management, provider relations and contracting departments.

      Ms. Vukic received her Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College and Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baruch College. She is also Six Sigma & Lean certified.
