Where we are and what you will find

Affinity Health Plan is proudly headquartered in the Bronx, one of New York City’s most storied and vital boroughs. Below you will find helpful information for those visiting our workplace, along with details about some of the worthwhile things you can find and do nearby. We also have Community Service Centers (CSC) throughout the New York metropolitan area where you can find more information and ask questions about our managed care programs.

    Getting here

Affinity’s headquarters in the Bronx is convenient to New York City and suburban New York including Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, Connecticut and New Jersey. We are located in a modern office complex just off Westchester Square, a bustling, diverse crossroads where places abound for lunch and shopping. Affinity is just a few minutes’ drive from the Whitestone and Throgs’ Neck Bridges to the south, with ready access from major travel routes including the Hutchinson River Parkway and the Bruckner and Cross Bronx Expressway. A secure, monitored lot provides ample, off-street parking.

For dining, the office features several relaxed and inviting spaces. Reduced-price memberships are available at Star Fitness, located across the street. New York Sports Club also has a nearby location.

    Public Transit and Driving Routes

The area is also served by high-quality public transit services including the Pelham Bay Park branch of the Lexington Avenue subway line (4, 5 and 6 trains); and MTA buses, including express service from Manhattan and Flushing (a more direct route for Queens commuters than traveling to Manhattan).

If you are coming to Affinity by car, please refer to our driving directions. Or, use Hopstop to find the most direct public transit route.

    Area Attractions

Affinity’s setting is industrial/residential, and filled with surprising features. A block away, a handsome 19th-century library houses the city’s premier collection of Bronx historical information. Just under the nearby Whitestone Bridge, Ferry Point Park affords an excellent view of the Manhattan skyline.

In fact, within the immediate neighborhood, and extending throughout the Bronx, you will find a rich variety of cultural, dining and recreational opportunities. Along with popular destinations such as the Bronx Zoo, Van Cortlandt Park and City Island are many lesser-known points of interest. The Bronx is also home to esteemed public and private universities including Fordham Unversity, Hostos Community College and Lehman College (CUNY), Maritime College (SUNY), Mercy College and the College of Mount Saint Vincent. The area has many highlights, including both familiar attractions and hidden gems.
