Quality Management Program (QARR)

QARR stands for Quality Assurance Reporting Requirements. This is the New York State Department of Health's version of the national Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set (HEDIS) developed and overseen by the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA).

The QARR measures Affinity's performance in delivering preventive, well-care, prenatal, behavioral health, diabetes and asthma care services.

We recognize that our Provider Network contributes to our past performance and to our future improvement. Affinity and its Clinical Affairs Committee continue to look for innovative ways to assure that our Members receive high quality services.

QARR Alerts

To help you understand Affinity's quality performance initiative, the Quality Management area has developed a series of user-friendly QARR (Quality Assurance Reporting Requirements) measure alerts for the following domains: Access to Care, Pediatric Preventive Care, Women's Care, Chronic Condition Care and Acute Condition Care. Affinity's QARR Rates tell us how well our Members access care and receive preventive, chronic and acute care. We encourage you to review/refer to the QARR alerts to further improve the quality of care our Members receive. Please share them with your colleagues/peers. Click here for more information.
