If you signed up for an AffinityAccess Qualified Health Plan last year, your coverage is coming up for renewal. The renewal period runs from November 1, 2016 through January 31, 2017. You must renew by December 17, 2016 in order to avoid a lapse in coverage in January 2017. If your coverage is renewed before December 17, 2016, your new coverage will take effect on January 1, 2017.

What's Different in 2017?
This year, Affinity is offering pediatric vision and dental benefits with every AffinityAccess plan. If you enrolled in a plan without pediatric vision and dental coverage in 2016, will be discontinued on December 31, 2016 and you need to enroll in a replacement plan. Please contact a customer service representative at 866.243.3174 to discuss your replacement plan options.
If you’re seeking vision and dental coverage for yourself or any adult member of your family, AffinityAccess 2.0 is the plan for you. This is an important step in selecting a plan that best meets the needs of you and your family.
The 2017 Open Enrollment period runs from November 1, 2016, to January 31, 2017. After this open enrollment period, you will not be eligible to change your plan until the next open enrollment period unless you have a qualifying-life event (for example, get married or have a baby). To avoid any gaps in coverage and to be covered on January 1, 2017, you must enroll in an AffinityAccess plan by December 17, 2016. The premium for your new plan must be received by Affinity before January 1, 2017.
Review Before You Renew
If your income has changed since you signed up for coverage, your eligibility for tax credits could be affected. Review all your options before you renew. so that you can be aware of all of the subsidies available to you. You may also discover that you or your family may qualify for Medicaid, Child Health Plus (CHP) or Essential Plan (EP).
