Our UniCare Program is one of several efforts made by New York State to provide affordable health care coverage to uninsured persons.

The UniCare Program offers a comprehensive benefit package, including prescription drugs, to low-income, uninsured individuals and families. The State pays approximately 87% of the monthly premium; subscribers pay the balance of the monthly premium plus some minor co-payments.
